About

image SCHRÖDINGER’S Coffee House is a cartoon strip about the world seen through the eyes of Schrödinger the cat and Max the dog

The premise

There’s a Coffee House – sells coffee, tea and sundry items (think beautiful, sweet cakes with the ability to obliterate all willpower, completely!). This is where Schrödinger and Max live

There’s a cat – called Schrödinger; intelligent, literary, wise, some would say aloof who has a penchent for Jazz.

There’s a dog – called Max; full of beans, more down to earth, quick off the mark and with a passion for Rock. Companion to Schrödinger and thus long-suffering

There are humans – the various Dramatis Personae or ‘extras’ as Schrödinger & Max like to think of them. They frequent the coffee House, to the amusement, annoyance and general distraction of Schrödinger and Max. This includes the Coffee House owners; Shrödinger and Max’s ‘owners’.

There are influences – many and varied, including; Old school comic strips, Rock, Quantum Theory, Science Fiction, Englishness, Comics, Dance Music, 2-D cartoon animation inc. Anime, Fantasy, Horror, Zen and a whole host of pop cultural references I haven’t even began to think about yet!

There are adventures – initiated by The Coffee Cup of Destiny that, through quantum interaction at the ‘platonic’ level, transports Schrödinger and Max to magic and mystery.

Miaow, Woof!
